CAMPUS

Since 1966, the FCA Ministry has been present on campuses all across the country. The Campus Ministry is initiated and led by student-athletes and coaches on junior high, high school and college campuses.

The purpose of Campus Ministry, through various types, has been to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost and to seek to grow and mature a follower of Jesus Christ. The “win” of Campus Ministry is to see campuses impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches.

“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.” - Matthew 22:36-40

Campus Huddles

Huddles: A consistent small group environment in the sports community where the gospel is made known and lived out.
As we seek to make disciples who make disciples, we engage, equip and empower coaches and athletes to know and grow in Christ and lead others to do the same. We do this through many different ways and environments.

We identify spaces and places to cultivate relationships— individually or in groups—and we use Christ-centered Huddles, events, training and resources.

WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT KINDS OF HUDDLES?

Coaches Huddle

A small-group Bible study for coaches (of all levels of sport) on campuses and in club/travel sports. The Huddle can consist of a coaching staff, or it can be made up of coaches from various teams.

Team Huddle

A Bible study within an individual team setting or environment that encourages and challenges team members to live and compete according to biblical principles.

Multi-Sport Huddle

A small-group Bible study for athletes from multiple sports teams within a campus or community setting.

A Christian Competitor aims to become like Jesus Christ – the greatest competitor of all time. He is the greatest competitor for the souls of men … the greatest champion to hang on the cross … the greatest teammate to lift up those around him … the greatest captain to build a lasting team.
