Jerry grew up playing all sports in Troy, Alabama, and eventually specialized in football, leading his high school team to a state championship. He was the FCA president in high school and at his university. He played football at Troy State University and won a National Championship in his senior year in 1985. Jerry graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice.
He moved to Miami in 1993, where he worked at FIU and Miami Dade College as a Life Skills Coordinator and athletics chaplain. He has coached football, baseball, and volleyball and has been in ministry in Miami for over 27 years. Jerry lives with his wife, Joy, in Coral Gables.

Brian Glasford is a Co-Pastor, along with his brother, Jason Glasford, of New Life Missionary Baptist Church in Liberty City, Florida.
Brian graduated from Hialeah Miami Lakes Sr. High, received a football scholarship to play at UCF, and later completed his education at St. Thomas University. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a Master’s in Sports Administration. Brian is an educator with Miami Dade College and has coached football and basketball.
Since his call to ministry in 2016, he has adopted his father’s life verse,
Psalm 32:8,
“I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way you should go; I will guide thee with mine eye.”
Brian lives in SW Miami-Dade with his wife, Brenda.
Avery Jones

Avery’s life’s mission is to know Him and make Him known. He loves the lost and desires to influence his world by influencing the influencers for Christ.
Avery is married to his high school sweetheart, Linda, and is the father of 3 – twins Nathanial, Kristen, and Jamie. Born in Kittery, Maine, his family took residence in Florida, where he attended Miami Killian Senior High School, University of Florida, and graduated with a BA from Florida International University. Avery was part of the school marching band.
Avery would tell his younger self, “God’s got you, so just go for it; it all works for good.”

John Lee Patterson has been a fully devoted follower of Christ for over 35 years. He and his wife, Stacey, have two children, Jayla and Jaylen.
John Lee played football and ran track through high school but gave his life to Christ after his senior year and started preparing for full-time ministry. He has served in Missouri, Texas, New Mexico, and Florida (where he was ordained to the church).
Ministry and sports have always been a passion for John Lee. Using both passions to reach coaches and athletes for Christ is a bonus.
Scott Tabor

Scott was born and raised in Miami and lives with his wife, Stacey.
Scott played multiple sports throughout his school years and graduated
from Westminster Christian School in 1999.
He furthered his education with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Ministry/Theology from Trinity International University (Florida campus) and completed his Master's degree in Counseling Psychology.
Scott had been volunteering as a Huddle coach for two years and was called to join the FCA ministry staff in August 2018.

Pam is the Area representative in the Florida Keys. She and her husband, Glen, became full-time missionaries with Mercy Ships in 2004. They have served in the DR, England, Ghana, Liberia, and most recently with YWAM Ships in Papua New Guinea. One of her gifts is evangelism, and God moved in mighty ways.
In 2018, Pam found leading the Key West FCA after the area representative moved. God is moving in mighty ways in Key West and has put on her heart that the Gospel message needs to be preached in every school in the Florida Keys. They already have a multi-sport huddle/club in Key West High School and an After School Club at Poinciana Grade School. Please keep her, her son Scott, and all the plans God has to share the Gospel and the Love of Christ to every school, coach, athlete, and student in the Florida Keys.

After Scott graduated from High School, he joined Youth With A Mission for a year and a half. After leaving YWAM, Scott went to Calvary Chapel Bible College and graduated with an Associate of Applied Science in Biblical Studies. After graduating from CCBC, Scott interned with Equipping for Ministry for a year in California and at Haven City Church in Baltimore, MD.
Now Scott is back in Key West and serving with Big Coppitt First Baptist Church and FCA with his family. Throughout Scott’s life, he has been involved in a few sports. He was on a swim team and went to a soccer camp, but his favorite was golf.

Roberto grew up being a runner from the age of 7. He was part of a track and field league for the Department of Bolivar in Cartagena – Colombia. Being a local medalist, he had the opportunity to participate in local, regional, and national championships, giving him vast experience in his sport and the great opportunity to share the love of Christ with other athletes. Roberto now serves as the Latin America South Region 1 Director (Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia). Roberto developed an FCA team that serves in four different areas: Coaches, Competitors/Athletes, Camps, and Community, running the strategy of “To and Through the coach”.
